… and the Gondola is being readied as Ski Apache is just one good snowfall away from opening the entire Mountain! Visit the Ski Apache Trail Map to view these exciting runs.

“It was challenging to make the decision to delay the opening, but it was the right thing to do to provide visitors with a quality skiing and snowboarding experience,” said Ski Apache’s new Director of Operations, Vincent Hubbard Jr.

“I think the wait paid off as people seemed to appreciate the good snow and all that we’ve done to prepare for this season.”

This season, Ski Apache is focusing on the whole Ski Experience like never before.

As part of its commitment to provide skiers and snowboarders with the best experience, Ski Apache has made several improvements to the resort.

Some of these improvements include:

  • a new gondola plaza with an underground snow melting system
  • a larger paved parking lot
  • expansion of the snowboard rental shop
  • and more state-of-the-art rental equipment.

This coupled with expanded food and beverage menus and a full special promotions and special events calendar make this a great year to visit the Southern Rockies’ premier ski destination.
