On June 8th master guitarist Ottmar Liebert and his band brings his signature “Nuevo Flamingo…Spanish Gypsy…Contemporary Groove” sound to the Mountains. This is a world class show and a must see for anyone who enjoys hearing a master practice his craft in a breathtaking setting.
On June 19th a perennial favorite hits the stage at the Spencer. The Kingston Trio will bring back memories of the good old days with their original acoustic folk songs like “Scotch and Soda” and “Tom Dooley”. Truly the most popular folk group of all time the boys continue to deliver show stoppers.
On June 24th there is one for the kids when the Missoula Childrens’ Theater presents “The Jungle Book”. This one hour play stars 60 local kids who have taken part in a week long acting workshop at the Spencer Theater. This one promises to be a lot of fun so come on out and support the kids.
On July 4 you are invited to celebrate our Nation’s birthday “Ruidoso Style” with the “Windsor Creek Trio” playing the outdoor stage. You will relax alongside a Ruidoso sunset in a casual atmosphere enjoying this wonderful acoustic folk group. Cold Beer and Wine will be available and be sure to come hungry as food vendors will be on hand to round out your “Ruidoso experience”. Then, weather permitting, the Spencer will treat you to a spectacular fireworks display. This is one of those evenings that you will remember forever, so book early!
