“Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino” on January 22nd.

Appreciated by his fans for his “Old Style Country,” and readily recognized for his hit singles “Some Beech” and “Goodbye Time,” this RMA song-of-the-year nominee continues to wow the crowds and the critics alike. Blake now has two more chart toppers on his hands with “Nobody But Me” and “Ol’ Red.”  Known for powerful shows, his great sense of humor, engaging story telling and connecting with his audiences, Blake has come into his own; he’s the best thing to happen to Country music in a long time.

Blake’s fans are known as “BS’rs and they readily tell you to run..not walk..to the nearest ticket outlet when Blake comes to your neighborhood. His show will have you laughing, dancing, singing and maybe tearing up a little too as he throws everything he has into his songs and stories. Currently, he is touring with Rascal Flatts on the successful “Here’s To You” tour and fortunately, for those of us within driving distance of Ruidoso and the Mescalero Nation, his schedule brings him right to our doorstep.

Blake’s recent “Barn and Grill” release went gold this summer cementing his place on country music’s who’s who list. Working with the likes of George Jones and John Anderson on collaborative recordings, Blake has reached out to an audience ready for a revival in their favorite genre. Appearances on most every Country Award show, Television franchise and radio program has served Country fans well in showcasing Blake’s music and dynamic personality.

Blake is enjoying his rise to fame, but remains grounded. He is an avid outdoorsman, and his favorite time of year is hunting season. He was recently featured on America's premier knife magazine “Blade” astonishing readers with his knowledge of knives and his collection of Case knives. In an effort to give something back, Blake joined a star-studded cast in promoting the “Wheelin’ Sportmen” program that reintroduces disabled Sportsmen to the joys of hunting, fishing, bird watching and getting out into the great outdoors.

The “Inn Of The Mountain Gods” continues to bring spectacular performances to the mountains. Blake follows the Charlie Daniels Band’s amazing performance in December '05, and Charlie found the stage still red hot from the rockin’ Davy Jones, Grass Roots and Buckinghams performances.
