The Sporting Clay Range which is located at the hunt lodge at Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino is open year-round, weather permitting, except during scheduled hunts. The cost is $25 for 50 targets and a full rental which includes eye and ear protection, a vest, a gun and 50 shells is only $35. Fun in the Saddle!
The Inn of the Mountain Gods is the perfect mountain retreat facility. Our Riding Stables are open seasonally from April thru October, weather permitting, except during scheduled Big Game Hunts. Horseback ride through some the most beautiful back country in New Mexico on the pristine Mescalero Apache Reservation. The guides are great as well, full of great information on the local flora and fauna … elk sightings are common as well as wild turkey, the occasional bear and plenty of mule deer!
Daily trail rides run at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and last 1 hour. Guests who plan on riding longer are asked to make a reservation. The cost is $20 an hour per person (riding doubles is not allowed).There is an age restriction, so riders must be at least 8 years of age. For more information on riding please contact the Inn.

Shape Up or Die!
It’s never too early to start looking good for the New Year’s Party at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. So why not consider buffin’ up the old body while you visit.
The Inn’s mountain retreat facility has an indoor Pool and a 15-person Hot Tub, located on the 2nd floor of the Hotel. The pool hours are from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily. There is no lifeguard on duty, so children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Next to the pool is our Fitness Center. The fitness center is equipped with free weights, circuit weights and cardiovascular equipment. The hours of the fitness room are from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily. Men’s and women’s locker rooms are adjacent to the swimming pool. Saunas and steam rooms are located inside each locker room.
