EVERYBODY LOVES A RODEO…and the Mescalero Apache’s “Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino” is putting on a good one. The Mescalero Nation in partnership with the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) is bringing the “Show” to the Mescalero Rodeo Grounds this September 4th and 5th. Yessirree, if you’re looking for a rootin’ tootin’ good time that the entire family can enjoy then Ruidoso is the place you want to be Sept 4th and 5th.

The PRCA represents the best in Rodeo with all the top riders competing for big cash and big buckles. This event will put the towns of Mescalero and Ruidoso on the Rodeo map, but, of course, the Mescalero Apaches have been around horseflesh since the Spanish landed in California so they already know a little something about ropin’ and ridin’.
This PRCA scheduled stop manages to partner up with another great horse event on the same weekend, the All American Futurity featuring the one million dollar Futurity final. You can take in all of the action over the Labor Day weekend as the two events are scheduled to complement each other. Remember to book your rooms early as this is going to be a rompin’ stompin’ good time.

Of course, life isn’t just about horse competitions so be sure to take a little time to enjoy what the Mescalero Apaches have to offer at the Inn Of The Mountain Gods Resort and Casino. This is quite a place and the folks there offer up heepin’ helpins’ of good old-fashioned hospitality. Play a round of golf on the beautiful championship course located at the Inn, or enjoy one of the fabulous restaurants that offer everything from buffet to gourmet. Then try your luck in the friendliest Casino this side of the Sierra Nevadas.
